Whats On My Mind

Going home is all i can think about. It is all i want to do. Though i know me being at upward bound is for the best of it, and will help me out in the long run. When i get home my weekend is already jam-packed with stuff to do and people to see. Even though i do not want to be here i still have fun while i am here. I can meet new people, make new friends, and learn how do things i have not done before, or would not of learned if i just would of stayed home for the summer. Being at Upward Bound there are many benifits and many downfalls. Some of the benfits are we get paid, we are prepared for the upcoming school year, we meet new people we would not of met outside of the program, and you are also put into situations that you would not of done outside of upward bound. The downfalls to being at upward bound for the summer is that your away from you family and friends who are not in the program. That you can not keep in contact with them since cell phones and the use of being on facebook is not allowed.
